After how many games does a football table have any meaning?

My guess would be that they only have a partial meaning after at least 4 games. What do you think?

Usually by Christmas, in terms of stats for those that win the league or those that go down. By ultimately, the tables only have meaning at the end of the season.

Well they used to wait until everyone had played 3 games before they compiled a league table. Now it's a joke. Yahoo actually put a league table up after Sunderland beat Spurs in the early kick off before anyone else had even played a game!
I think the league table gives a fair reflection of where teams will finish around the end of January.
