When did he outsmart anyone? If he was "Bush's brain" as people say, and Bush still did so many phenomenally stupid things even with his advice, I shudder to think what he'll do in the next year and a half. It doesn't take intelligence to do any of the things Bush and Rove did. All it takes is a total lack of ethics.

although i am not a big fan of rove's i do have to give him credit for being a very intelligent and savvy. he certainly knows how the political system works and how to work it.
the thing is there are those in the left who also do the exact same thing he does but they don't want to admit it, maybe because they are not as good at it or they want people to believe they don't play the same game. and let's face it that's all politics are ...a game.

No. Its because the current deficit spending and lie-based war reside in the house that Rove built.

He hasn't outsmarted anybody but you Republicans, we had him hook, line and sinker and a usual he run away. Bush cried, Oh how he cried he was just all choked up and then Karl shed a tear and her Laura she was running to console them with her broad behind showing. She forgot her girdle upstairs, running to hug his neck goodbye. Bush was waving and then another tear drop fell. IT remains me of a country song, " A Tear Fell , When You Told Me , That You and I Were Through , Please Don't Make Me Shed Another Tear Drop For You". Bye, Karl old buddy I'll be right behind you in a bit. It was so sad that I laughed to keep from crying, to. OH ME OH My.

Did you notice, not one person could come up with a reason they didn't like karl rove,
Beyond that he is part of the Bush administration.
None could actually name something he had done, that they didn't like.
Makes ya wonder why they spend so much energy hating him, if they cannot say why.

He never outsmarted us. He cheated. And, as was asked of him at his rat-jumping-off-the-sinking-ship press conference, if he's so smart, how come the Democrats embarrassed the Republicans in the last Congressional election? And if he's so smart, how come his boy Georgie has a 26 percent approval rating?

Because he pimped religion and patriotism for votes in the most cynical way.
A con man out-smarts people too. Are you saying you'd admire someone who scammed you because they got away with it?

Well for one, he wanted to create a permanent Republican majority to rule the USA.
Second, he is a slimy piece of trash.
