I've been feeling depressed lately and I need some sad songs to listen to. Anything would be fine.

10 off the top of my head, in no particular order except the order they come to me:

1. Have you ever loved a woman? - Derek & the Dominoes (actually, I nominate the whole album)
2. Love hurts - Nazareth
3. Young Enough to Cry - Triumph
4. Blue on Black - Kenny Wayne Shepherd
5. Cats in the Cradle - Harry Chapin (OK, maybe this one's a little cheesy, but it always gets me)
6. The End - Doors
7. Strong Pursuader - Robert Cray
8. Romeo & Juliet - Dire Straits
9. Desparado - Eagles
10. More Fool Me - Genesis

If you really want to celebrate that mood, you should definitely give The Smiths a listen (if you haven't already). I would especially recommend "That joke isn't funny anymore", but I guess everybody has their own favourite.

And if The Smiths don't do it for you, check out "Interpol" or "Editors". Their sound is somewhat faster and "heavier", but the atmosphere created in their songs fits any dark mood perfectly.

Don't forget to cheer up again, though. ;)

Try some Guns N' Roses. Patience and November Rain are good songs.

Hell Is For Children - Pat Benatar.

Brilliant song but always makes me sad since it's about child abuse.

Evanescence - My Immortal.
