We live in a single family house. Single story, white wood frame, 3 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath, w/ a carport, a porch, a front yard and a fenced in back yard. We have trees and grass too. (People usually have to pay extra for grass and trees when they buy a house!)
You asked, " what else is there?".
I've got family that live on reservations in traditional American Indian shelters. There are quite a lot of people who live in hotels too.

I currently live in a 5 room (1 bedroom/1 bath) apartment. I hope to be buying a house (either townhouse or single-family) by 2009.

a 150 year old house that is a replica (outside anyway) of a fave pub I used to go to, called Failtes, the ultimate place. You know, I used to move to a new town on the basis of what the pub scenes were like?? That changed when I had kids, now I just live in the replicas!

I live in a single story house, with a 2-car attached garage, in a middle/upper-middle class suburb of Los Angeles.My neighbourhood is surrounded by a wall. Besides people, cats and dogs, other life that populates my area includes-

I live in what is called a habitat...there are four condos in one and all the garages are on the front....mine is all upstairs above the garages so i don't have to listen to neighbors complain, or be below loud people like at my old apartment
