How does Satan mislead people? Why should you resist the devil?

Satan started off as a beautiful and powerful angel created by God... To stand up and work on the right hand side of God... What happen to Satan was he got hung up on his self and wanted to take his creator place in heaven.. He is know as the fathers of lies and deceit.. And it was his lies that was the cause of other angels following him for the angels never understood the concept of a lie so they thought that Satan was being honest with them and those fallen angels were condemned by God for not following their true God.... Thus when Satan was casted out of heaven the fallen angels were tossed out with him.... Now no one can give you a date and time for this... For all man-kind can do is to tell you that these things really happen.... For their fall created such and uproar in the heavens.... Now after a while angels that were kicked down to this earth they started taking man-kind women as wives and thru their supernatural magic they started creating a different race of giant half-angels and half men... Then after a war with God and his remaining angels with man-kind at their side these fallen angels were defeted and their offspring being almost totally destroyed... A balance was once given to man-kind again, and man-kind future generations......Now Satan infulence still remaind on earth but man-kine was given knowledge and certain skills in order to resist Satan advances..... And this all took place after Adan and Eve was kicked out of Eden.... Now Noah Flood was the the source of the destruction of all of man-kind except fo Noah and his family members.... And thanks to Hams 4th son that was cursed not Ham But his 4th son called Cannan.. Curses and evil again took it place on this earth....... Now as to whay you should resist Satan He is the the creator of half truths and lies and total deceit... All Satan wishes to to is to replace God on his throne. And take over... And the whole purpose of Satan is to take you away from God and follow Satan to his own destruction... And the only way Satan Can get you to follow him is thru lies and total deceit.... And so far for those that don't believe or accept God.. Are under Satan infulences and it does not matter if you know that or not... And destruction and death is all they have to look foward to even if it is unknowingly.......... I think that is reason enough for you to avoid Satan at all cost.................................................................

The devil is actually a creation of Christian institutions. They wished to spread their faith and 'lift' people from believing in the old gods (these were mainly Greek and Roman gods, both cultures which accepted other faiths so much that they tended to assimilate any foreign gods they came across into their panoply). The devil carries Poseidon's trident, he has the goat legs of Pan, and also the horns of Pan. He is sort of meant to stand as a symbol for all those pagan beliefs whcih held such sway with the masses. It was a way to win the battle of converting people from a pantheistic attitude to a monotheistic one. And it really worked.

Ezekiel 28:13 it mentions the angel in the garden of eden.
by the 15 verse it says that until unrighteousness was found in you.
So that must be the fallen angel who was now being the king of Tyre. They can be in human bodies as it says in Genesis 6 and jude 6.
So at first he was good it said then by using his free will he turned wicked.
Resist him because he wants you to sin.
The Lord's prayer says to help me resist temtation from the devil.

I have dated the Devil. Didn't know he was the devil at first, but i soon found out.

The "devil" is a fallen angel, if that is want you to hear . I more believe he was a God, at one point they all were, but he simple wished to have more control over the human soul. Which is why just about everything "Is the Devil"

The devil used to be an angel of God until one day he tried take over heaven, and God threw him out. It's called the war in heaven.

Satan was the Angel of Music in heaven, before he told God that he was better than him, so Satan was locked in hell, until the End Of the World comes, and he can roam the earth for 1,000 years.
then he is cast asunder to the Fiery Lake, and Brimstone A.K.A. Hell

Satan is an anthropomorphism of all that which causes people to go against the laws of the Judeo-christian conspiracy...Examples of these types of things are, instinct, reason, logic and self-interest...
Satan does not exist, except as a symbol of rebellion.

i heard the devil was once an angel but thought he was greater than God so he rebelled. Often you should resist the devil because it will show you have great & strong faith.

Evil exists in this world, but only in human beings. In order to make themselves feel better and more righteous, many religions have personified the concept of evil into an entity they can blame for their own weakness and evil.
