Obama, but he is very unlikely to get the Dem nomination (although if he is chosen as VP you can bet on it).

It's already begun with Adolph Giuliani: NYC firefighters are, so to speak, torching him for his irresponsbility leading up, and even including, 9/11, which is his sole claim to Presidential plausibility. Face it: If Giuliani had left office a year earlier, he would've been laughed out of the race as soon as he got in. He's running solely on what he did on 9/11, and it's a travesty. And that's merely the first reason not to vote for the guy, the first of many.

Fred Thompson is an easy target for negative attacks with his lobbying past, light legislative portfolio, and post 9/11 acting career. But I doubt it will be a swifty style attack.

On the Dem side, probably Clinton. All the old Arkansas-State-Trooper-Whitewater-Cover-Up-Vince-Foster-Murder conspiracies will come up again.

Rudy is an easy target, but the Republican sheep will not notice anything because all they can think is FEARFEARFEAR and Rudy's just the man to make them feel SAFESAFESAFE.

None. There was no media smear campaign against Kerry. The Swift Boat Vets had a tough time getting their stories to the maind stream media. It was not until conservative talk shows let them speak, that their message got out.
