08 is a sure win for Dems if they play their cards right. It is basically theirs to lose. Am I wrong?

You are absolutely right my friend. My conundrum is I don't like any of the Rep frontrunners either so Hillary destroying the Democrats doesn't in my mind do a whole lotta good.

Hey man..there is no way at all the democrats will win this year. If Howard Dean gets his way and Obama is crowned king..we will have many democrats not voting for him but for McCain....we would probably still call them Reagan democrats. Hillary's supporters will vote for McCain as opposed to Obama. Yes they have chosen the least winable and least credible Obama! The undecided super delegates ( what a ridiculous way to describe them) will be as robots and subscribe to the head of the Dem's party.. and will cast their ballot with Obama. Thankfully the socialistic democrats will have shot themselves in the foot because the majority of the American public still can discern the truth and the facts that socialism is not compatible with what this country was founded upon!

I'm not convinced Hillary is a Democrat, her lips merely move that way when convenient. Actually, I see very little difference between her and Rudy, both are bad news and more of the 'status quo' to me.

Dude - you got that one right in the bulls eye! She is the worst enemy of the Dem. party and most do not realize it.
Thanks for making a great point. Go Hillary!

I am not a Democratic supporter, but I agree that nominating Hillary would be a mistake.

If it must be a Democratic ticket, I would pick Biden with Obama as his running mate.

While I am not thrilled with Hillary, there are no Republicans running that are inspiring either, so I still think it is Hillary's to lose. A lot of people hated Bill, but lot of people liked him too, especially after the last six years.

Nothing is a sure things, the dems have proven that time and time again, but you are right about one thing, they will definitely lose if Hillary is nominated.

Yes, the dems will work over time to make sure they tout the far left agenda and alienate most of middle America and snatch defeat. They will of course jump up and down and say it was bad voting machines (except in the places they win of course).

However, I think Obama will carry the dem ticket. I think Hillary is too polarizing even for the dems to get her past the primary.

IMO, you couldn't be more right. 2008 was a shoe in for the Dems...but the candidates that currently run at the front of their pack are harming the party's chances for presidential success. Bad year to bring out the politically correct candidates...

Chi, no one knows until the week up to the election. That is when the big guns come out. Anything can happen.
