The amount of money you make depends on the job you take. To be honest, without a PhD in Psychology, you are very limited to the work in the field you can do. There are only 3 states currently that you can get licensed in Psychology with a Bachelors degree (NY, TX and FL). You can get licensed in most states with a Masters, and do testing and make LOTS of money, but it is very monotonous. With a Masters, in most states you can get licensed as a counselor, therapist, and many other positions. I would suggest going to your advisor and ask them about the field. If it is something you want to do, you can make money at it, but more often then not, starting out you will have to find the money out there to make the money.

A B.A. in psych? your good for flipping burgers. And pretty much the same thing with a Master's. You MIGHT make a decent salary somewhere with a Phd, but that's no sure bet either as those are a dime a dozen. You're likely to make more money going into a trade

It depends on what job he/she has. A BA in psych is not very marketable, and you probably would do work outside of the field. With a master's, you can become a school psych and make good money, depending on the state you work in. ($30-80,000 over your career). You need a doctorate (PhD) to become therapist. They can make good incomes, but it's getting harder bc of insurance restrictions.
