You can't.

It is an offence to have anything on a number plate, except the vehicle's registration and a small 'country of origin' logo (e.g. UK, EU, etc.) on the left hand side.

Even if you could, in order to comply with 'L'-plate regulations, your number plate would need to be 8" high and 14" wide!

Don't think you can, As they have to be the full legal sizes.

You could always get a stick on L plate and stick it to your helmet (Not sure if that's a legal location) Might have to be fixed to the bike.

Or you can take your full motorbike test, Do it asap as its getting harder (I think October 2008)

the simple answer to your question is you cant you will have to buy the proper L plates which you can get at any motorcycle shop or the likes of halfords etc and I speak from over 30 years of motorcycling and they have to bye law be placed at the front and rear of the bike

Paint a red L on the headlight glass and a red L on the rear number plate, When plod stops you tell them to go forth and multiply!!!!

Buy an orange vest, better investment, keeps you visable, and keeps you from getting "accidently" shot.
