1) part of the "flexible ethics" required for the job.

2) What the nazis claimed: tell a lie often enough and even the people telling it will believe it.

New York is the safest large city in America since Mayor Giuliani turned it around -- it is not a haven for illegality of any kind. The mayor's record speaks for itself.

New York became a sanctuary city, where illegal immigrants enjoy some measure of protection, through an executive order signed by Mayor Ed Koch in 1989, five years before Giuliani became mayor in January 1994.

Handling quality of life crimes got rid of many many illegal immigrants by default. Rather then ship them out only to have them return, he put them in the system. Legal or illegal, three strikes and your out.

The city improved right before everyone's eyes. The difference between him and David Dinkins was astounding.

True he did turn a blind eye toward the sanctuary issue but that saved a lot of people who maybe were undocumented and good hard working souls who obeyed every other law and taught their kids to do the same.

Criminals are criminals undocumented or not and they are gone so, I won't quibble with his methods.

Politicians are packed with politics. Politics is a sub-branch of human life, it is not an unintended reality... it incredibly is a social build. Politics consequently has no ethical element, no ethical barriers and no aesthetic objective. it incredibly is of itself, and totally based on the will for effect and ability. That want can purely be finished by persuading those with miniscule quantities of ability (voters)...to back whichever newly emerged character affliction craves ability. Generals in conflict time, calculate what proportion of their troops would be in all probability to die whilst they plan operations. we don't moan approximately generals. Politicians get documents to teach the in all probability social deprivation their plans will reason whilst they develop coverage. yet we moan approximately that each and all of the time. Welcome to democracy. we are l instructed that democracy is the excellent element we could have, and the overpowering majority accept as true with that... so end moaning.

Politics / Politicians ARE "so full of crap" simply because that IS a prerequisite to desiring a "position" where they must do little more than sit around, BS with their cohorts, and create new useless and needless "laws" to drain away your money and to plague the rest of you. MY "kindest", NON-lethal suggestion to ALL politicians: Wal-Mart is ALWAYS hiring... Get an honest, "decent" job.

Simply, because they are allowed to be full of crap. Citizens no longer hold their elected officials to high standards...actually, they seem to have NO standards. And as long as the people allow it, they will continue to be so. Mind you, in a country whose media cared more about the jailhouse antics of Paris Hilton than the lives that were lost in Iraq that particular day....do you really believe that anyone really cares about honest politicians?

Politicians, by nature of the fact that they speak to all crowds eventually, tend to talk out of both sides of their mouths. Clinton was a master at that, but he got caught when he made it to , and in , the white house.
