well see, both of their albums are coming out on september 11,,so some music channel thought it would be a good idea to have a debate started with the two of them present on live television to promote their cd's and to prove which album is better,,,but then kanye didn't approve of the idea.
50 cent made a public promise that if kanye west's album sells more than his, he will officially quit his solo career. he would still work with other artists but will never release another album.

long story short, there albums are coming out on the same day and 50cent has always sold more copies then kanye so he has said that if kanye out sells him, 50cent will quite his solo career but he will still write songs for other people and produce!

It's promotional; since we regular people listen to the media, 50 cent said something like if west sells more albums than he does in the most recent albums released, then he will not make another one, that he will only feature on other people's albums. Its for them both (Kanye and 50) to sell records

their both to arrogant for their own good but I think Kanye is more talented and has earned his way in the hip hop industry but he should tone down his arrogant ways cause its his fans who support him the most and 50 well hes always running around running his mouth talking a bunch of nonsense that I really dont care to hear much so thats just my opinion though

Probably one of those "pro rasslin'" styled ones that hip-hop artists have mastered to bring free publicity to soon-to-be released Cd's. It will help both in sales with Cd's that are coming out almost simultaneously in a flat summer market.
