It's much easier to write about things you love.

Whether it's a hobby, a location, or whatever...If you love it, you'll love writing about it.

If you're a really good writer, you won't have to write "until I die" but rather you can write as long as you'd like.

I write magazine stories about what I love. As long as I keep doing what I love, I'll want to keep writing about it.

Thankfully, journalism is much more than the daily news...!

PS- Get a good quality SLR digital camera and start learning how to use it. It will help you greatly in the future.

Journalists don't write every day. Sometimes they are too busy collecting information to actually sit down and type.

And very few journalists have secretaries. Most like to be outside the office, talking to people and gathering facts and data. The writing part of the job is difficult but satisfying (usually), which is why some bright, talented people like to do it even though they could make more money elsewhere.
