We're planning to take a trip to A) Dublin or B) Killarney in Kerry from Frankfurt, Germany. If you've got websites, phone numbers or email addresses of places to stay and see near these areas, PLEASE send them!

Ireland is pretty small, if you have more than 2 days you can travel around a see a lot.

Dublin is a lovely town, but it is still a town.
Kerry is known for its natural beauty. The towns in that area are rather small, nice but no big towns at all.
If you can go to both you will have the best, otherwise choice on base of what you like best.
I have been to both and want to go back to both.

If you travel outside the school holiday period booking in advance is not needed, just ask at the tourist office to help you to get a hotel or Bed and Breakfast.
If you do want to go in the high season, you can phone a few days before leaving home, so you know what to expect.
But there are many places to stay so there should be something for you.

Dublin is about as expensive as any town I have ever been, still a few cheaper places, but overall they know what they can ask.
The countryside is still cheaper, but expect to pay the same as in Germany, if not a bit more.
