I believe it would be called money laundering, and it's illegal.

To sell one's home to one self, one must first become two selfs. Schitzophrenia could work, but it's best if you break into an odd number of people (breaks a tie when voting is in order).
Look in the mirror and make yourself an offer. Once you come to an agreement, shake on it. Then, I guess you get a disinterested third party (this is where the odd numbers come in handy) to hold both the cash and the keys. Once that's done (and assuming you can trust your third self), you've sold yourself your own house!
Note to Cassie - If you are aware of builders committing this fraud, please notify the FBI.

Get with a title company to record a new deed and transfer payment (if there is payment). Title companies handle transferring properties.
As others have said, this doesn't sound good, but maybe you just want to change the name or something. I've seen builders do it because it creates comparable sales for appraiser's to use to increase the value. But any good appraiser wouldn't use that sale because of this.

Get some money from the ATM and hold it in your right hand. Hold the keys to your house in your left hand. Then put the money in your left hand and the keys in your right hand. Presto!

Can you give more details? Why? What do you want to achieve by doing it? Do you own it outright or do you have a mortgage?
