had the same problem and changed my laundry detergent for one that have no perfume or dyes and I run the rinse cycle a second time. also, invest in a good mattress cover a zipped one for allergy sufferers as well as for your pillows.
it worked for me, good luck!

The dryer you use may have much to do with your dilema. I use a draw-through dryer design such as has been made for decades by whirlpool-(kenmore and roper are lower lines); because they draw out the fine lint left behind by most washers. You'll know a draw-through design by where the lint screen is located-( on the top deck of the machine and has to be pulled up and away to fully separate it for cleaning). This design is not top-notch energy efficient but is the best at ridding your laundry of fine hairs and lint. This will yield the most clean sheets-free of loose lints. Secondly, If you are so clean -you have stripped your body of essential skin oils. Whith-out a good level of lasting oillyness to your skin you have opened up yourself to a number of skin disorders. One of wich is constant itching brought on by direct nerve contact to anything other than embryonic fluid. The Bible makes many, many references to oil as a blessed thing for recuperation from the perils of extended travel.

Dust mites live on dead skin cells. Many people are allergic to them. Bedbugs are very small also. Unless your clothes make you itchy too, I doubt it's detergent allergies. To look for signs of bedbugs, look for little black spots on the mattress. These result from bedbugs biting you for blood to feed on.

Did you start using a new detergent for your clothes/bedding? I would suggest taking Benadryl, It will help with the itch and put you to sleep.

Is there a chance that you're allergic to your laundry detergent? Also, see about getting your water tested: You might have hard water.
Good luck!
