With every stock exchange in the world in the red would'nt it be better to explain this deep downturn on external forces as opposed to internal (US domestic stats)? I mean- there is not one foreign stock exchange that has not merged, or is about to merge, with larger exchanges. Example: NASDAQ/OMX, NYSE/EURONEXT and others. With US, Canada and Mexican markets so intertwined-how could you not expect their financial woprlds NOT TO EFFECT OUR HOLDINGS?

Right now is the time to buy good, rock solid companies. Stick with best of breed stocks right now.

The market is on Sale! The profits to be made will be huge for those who know how to ride the beast.

You can play the blame game all you want, you can cry and complaine and anything else you please. But it won't make you any money.

That's what the game is all about, Now go buy some good stocks.

You're right that the US and foreign markets move in synch a lot more than they used to. That's because of global capitalism: money can move around the world more easily than ever before. I suspect the stock exchange mergers are a result of this process rather than a cause.

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, such as buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market do not actually work.

Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Pathological lying about profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the public with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names, fake backgrounds, and fake property).

Actual economics involves the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies owning the companies, and voting at work in order to operate the companies they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary beneficial parents, false economics, and criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

u can't blame anyone except US government. when the world wanted to switch to an alternate currency, Euro, US govt used all unethical means to prevent that from happening. otherwise things wouldn't have been so bad. today we are in an vicious circle of downfall. Nikkie japs open lower 'cause dow closed lower, sensex is lower 'cause, dow closed lower, ftse closes closer 'cause nikkei & sensex open/close lower. that's why it is advised decentralise control, so that more persons r responsible, & effect is not cumulative.

and yes i agree it is the best time to buy. when people realise the economy is still doing well markets will bounce back again.
