It's a sign that the weather is acting totally normally.
One day of sunshine does not mean we have global warming and one day of thunderstorms does not mean that El Nino is on it's way again.
These weather oscillations are completely normal.
I do not deny that we must take great care over our environment, but we are all in grave danger of over-reacting to normal short-term events. Looking back into English history, I can see times when the Thames river froze over regularly, equally there were times in the Middle Ages where temperatures were evidently higher than they are now.
I should also mention that, when I was growing up in the 70s, everyone was worrying about the next Ice Age because we had a few bad winters on the bounce.

Changes in the weather do not cause earthquakes. Global warming (or cooling) is a long term trend of average temperatures around the world. Los Angeles' temperature is insignificant overall.
I don't see your inference to sudden weather changes. "Today's forecast says 104 degrees and for tomorrow it shows major thunderstorms." That is normal weather. Higher temperatures cause the atmosphere to heat and be less stable and the result is thunderstorms. A sudden weather change would be 104 today and 24 tomorrow. That would be a cause for concern.

Oh, dang! Not another 'global warming" question!!! I can't believe how may people can fall for that crap!
I have yet to experience that in the NW... Weather oscillations are not at all that uncommon. But most people today don't bother to consult the historical account, they just freak out if there's a major change they haven't seen in their 'lifetime' which varies from 15 - 25 year leap. Well that's just not an accurate reading of the 'signs' if you wish.
P.S. The "global warming THEORY" is at best a money making device. Before you decide to believe it, hear both sides of the story will you?

Sudden weather changes are the results of fronts. When you have clear skies and no precipitation you're in a high pressure area. When the air pressure changes drastically a front moved over your area. Most of the time a switch from high to low pressure will be characterized by rain or thunderstorms.

LOL! No It's not unusual at all . For the fact that this sometimes happens to me as well usually when the temperature Gets very Hot outside. But also sometimes this is able to happen to all A Lot of people so early in the morning due - to waking up and getting out of bed way too quickly and not getting enough sleep.

weather doesnt cause earthquakes or global warming, rather global warming causes foul weather, or so they say. Why is it not possible for it to be 104 degrees one day and rain the next? All that evaporated moisture has to go somewhere doesn't it?

server thunderstorms on and following very hot days is normal - well at least over here in connecticut it is - I have noticed very different weather here too - like it being 79 in January - and then having a snow storm the other day - I have heard that is due to an inbalance - due to Global warming -
