There is specifically much criticism surrounding his administration during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Others criticize his lack preparedness before the attacks by allegedly ignoring the ongoing threat to New York City from Islamist terrorists in the preceding years. His handling of Ground Zero air quality issue is also questioned for downplaying the health effects of the air afterwards.

It is also mentioned that his recovery effort of the aftermath of Ground Zero, asserting that Giuliani rushed to conclude the recovery effort once gold and silver had been recovered from World Trade Center vaults. It has been alleged that Guiliani never read 9/11 Commission's Report and that he didn't attend any meetings of the Iraq Study Group after being appointed to it in early 2006.In the wake of 9/11, there has been debate as to whether or not Giuliani profited from the tragedy. Before September 11th, Giuliani was estimated to be worth a little less than $2 million, now its 30 times that amount

I would not want a person or party that benefited from a terrorist attach. That is only one of the many reasons to vote against the RNC and their corrupt policies and tactics. No bid contracts and tax cuts for their "Base", what a scam.

As a New Yorker, I know first hand that Giuliani was given way to much credit for all that was done of the 9-11 aftermath.

It wasn't Giuliani who cleaned up the mess

It wasn't Giuliani who consoled the families of those who lost loved ones

It wasn't Giuliani who helped or is helping the families of those who lost loved ones to get compensated

All Giuliani did for New Yorkers is raise taxes and line his pockets with tax payer dollars!!

Giuliani is a crook amongst crooks...meaning...he's a politician who cares about himself and those like him.

I doubt Guilliani will make it to the White House..The media ignores the fact that many New Yorkers can't stand the man. Everything you said about the man is true.
and btw i tdoesn't really matter whether he profited from that tragedy or not.
What matters is that what goes around, comes around--in the way we least expect.

It is beyond me how anyone can view him as presidential material. I watched him as governor of NY and I thought he was awful then. And I swear if I hear him try scare voters with his terrorist rhetoric. Well let's just say I've had enough with the current administration.

No, certainly not. But nothing you have said is more than liberal rhetoric unsupported by authority. I think Giuliani did a great job. No one could have ever envisioned such a horrific attack. He did great under the circumstances.
