Please is there any way to stop more American soldiers from dieing in Iraq? Let alone the millions of Iraqi people.

Can we please stop the war and save the lives of them? My brothe is gone, but can we please save the rest? Please?

Can we stop Bush and this war? Is there any way to stop more from being killed for no reason? Please? They should not die for this lie.

I thank so many of you for being kind and carring for my brother. But we need to stop Bush from taking more lives. If you lost a loved one you would change your mind about this war.

Please end this war and stop more people from being killed. It is the worst pain you can imagine. TO lose your loved one. If you could feel it you would want to stop this war.

ex_righty,

You know I have mentioned before how sorry I am for your loss. Again, I agree it is tragic anyone should die for this lie of a war.

people are so screwed and think it is for our "freedom" or our "protection" it's not. I am so sorry that they are dieing in vein.

Nohng can bring them back and bring the joy back to your life. I blame Bush 100% I blame him for lieing and taking are great kids to Iraq. And I blame the people that bleive Bush. It is their fault for beleiving Bush still! They still beleive it is for the protection of America.

I blame Bush for the loss of your brother. I am so sorry.

You can stop this war anytime. Here are some ways.

Just go to Iraq and convince the terrorist what ever their stripe to quit killing people.

Just go to the Democrats and get them to stand in front of the media and say, 'Mr President the leader of the Iraqi government says we can leave any time we want to. Mr. President we want you to bring the boys and girls home now. The Iraqis say they don't need us any longer. It's time to bring them home.'

The first solution probably won't do anything to stop soldiers or Iraqis from getting killed. But after you try it you will understand the situation better.

I don't think the second solution will stop the killing of Iraqis. But it will stop more American soldiers from getting killed there.

Saying please stop the war will have the same usefulness as a screen door on a submarine. If it makes you feel good to say that OK. Just don't expect much.

And just so you know. Bush isn't killing anyone. Bush isn't causing anyone to get killed. And if Bush pulled every soldier out of Iraq tomorrow it is doubtful it would make much difference how many Iraqis die.

What makes you think if I lost someone it would make a difference? There are hundreds of thousands of people in Iraq who lost loved ones before AND after this war started. What are they doing? Are they marching saying please stop?

You are right. This war, the death, the ies. I am a veteran and have seen wha is going on in Iraq. Your brother *did die in vein*.

there is no reason troops are getting shot and blown up. I was hit I know what's going on over there. It's a bigger lie than people could ever imagine.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Look people.... war is not pretty. And as Truman once said, "War is Hell".

But it was the only thing Dubya and I could come up with,

to make and obscene amount of money really fast,

for our oil buddies, our defense contractor buddies, the whole military complex machine, it created thousands upon thousands of jobs for people in those states.

Dubya and I, didn't do bad ourselves. We got seventeen more months and were out of here, and we can cash in, on the War Profiteering.

And its all legal..... hahaha!

Wars stop when one side capitulates, or both agree to peace. So, your options are: 1) convince the various factions in Iraq to lay down thier arms and meekly accept the occupation, 2) convince the Administration to surrender Iraq to Al Qaeda and/or Iran (or whoever ends up conquering it in the absence of US forces), or 3) convince all th evarious factions, and the Administration to just stop fighting, be nice to eachother, and re-build Iraq.

I figure, if you're going to attempt the impossible, you might as well go all the way and shoot for (3).

As I mentioned in your previous post on the same topic...

I am sorry for your loss, but don't degrade the fact that your brother was serving proudly and of his own free will. As a veteran, I can't put myself in your shoes. I can however speak from the perspective of a guy who volunteered to serve with both eyes open. I would be quite unhappy if a family member implied otherwise. Acting as though he was some sort of witless pawn doesn't do much to honor his memory.

Again, I can't put myself in your shoes. I find it interesting that you seem to promote a particular site on almost every question and answer, and then only began mentioning your brother yesterday. I am only guessing, but it seems like anybody in a similar situation to yours would naturally mention their brother in response to the linked question (6 days ago).

Far be it from me to question your integrity. Surely you have your emotional reasons for whatever you do.

I only mention this because it boggles my mind to think what a dishonorable, loathsome scumbag it would take to make something like this up in order to promote a political cause.

Surely this doesn't apply to you, though. May your brother rest in peace and may God grant you all the serenity you deserve.

The War on Terror will continue whether you fight or not. It only takes one side to ensure a continuance of hostilities.

Your Brother was a patriot and an American hero. He died doing what he believed was the right thing.

You aren't related to Mother Sheehan are you?

You have an obvious bias because you've lost a loved one. Stop making posts on the subject, your just making things worse. Bush is doing the right thing by protecting the country.
