My family would like to go to Colorado over Thanksgiving in 2008. What part of Colorado would be the best for a group of 8 adults and 5 children ages 1 - 11? We would like an area that has beginner to intermediate skiing as well as other outdoor activities. We prefer to rent a home instead of stay at a lodge. Thanks for your help!

Thanksgiving is a bit early for skiing. Not to say there won't be any skiing, but your options will likely be limited.

For a real Colorado experience, I'd recommend Steamboat Springs. It's the most western of the Colorado ski towns.

My other suggestion would be Breckenridge.

Try following the snow reports at these areas starting in November this year, then determine if late November is a good time vs waiting for February or March.

Colorado Springs is a outstanding place for a kinfolk trip. plenty to do: Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Pikes good, Cave of the Winds, outdoors of the Gods, Starsmore Discovery middle. it incredibly is likewise centrally placed indoors the state, so that's elementary to take day journeys to distinctive Colorado places like whitewater rafting. have relaxing!
