No, they would probably prefer he slept with lots of women, got them pregnant and drove them to the abortion clinic..

Well why don't conservatives? Their "values" (which would better be described as lack thereof), frown on divorce. In fact, the only Republican candidate that has had one wife is Mitt Romney, the Mormon. I am a proud Democrat, and I do not have any problem with Giuliani having been divorced. What I do have a problem with is the fact that he will continue the war in Iraq, the fact that he will not repair America's image in the world, and that he will most likely continue giving away money to the wealthy. My family has been plagued by divorce, and I find my family members affected by it to be plenty competent individuals. For all the "family values" the Republicans have, it's odd how much more important marriage seems to the Democrat candidates. Bill and Hillary fixed their marriage, and hopefully, they'll move back into the White House next year.
Liberals advocate birth control. Conservatives advocate abstinence, which doesn't appeal to much of the world, and if they choose to express themselves sexually, the conservatives take away their rights to choose whether or not to give birth. I'm not saying abortion is a good thing, it isn't. But I am saying that NO ONE can take away the rights to their own body.
Conservatives calling liberals hypocritical is, well, hypocritical.

"Like liberals do"? Political persuasion does not actually affect such sexual activity; it often affects primarily whether they're open about it.
No, the "criticism" is not really about Giuliani himself, but about the Republican party. The Republicans bill themselves as the party of "FAMILY VALUES!", and yet only one of their presidential candidates has not been divorced. And, in a great irony of perception for the Mormon religion, that candidate is Mitt Romney. It really just sounds like a bunch of hypocrisy and false claims from the Republicans when the Democrats have more traditional family lives.

How do you take Guiliani's multiple infidelities and pin them on "liberals"?
Look at the record:
Guiliani- 3 marriages
McCain - 2 marriages
Thompson - 2 marriages
Romney - hey, the Mormon only has had one wife!
Clinton, 1 marriage
Obama, 1 marriage
Edwards, 1 marriage
Richardson, 1 marriage

As a republican, I too criticize Giuliani for his many marriages. You do however, make a good point, i.e. Bill Clinton's affairs. I believe our president should be someone of good moral standing, which is one of the many reasons I would not vote for Rudy.

Good question. Because of the fake morality that has been imposed on us. I think they want throw it back at the offenders. But you would think with all of his presidential lackings they could do better. It's like Edwards haircut. How does any of this address the real issues we as Americans face?

He might as well. By entering into marriages the way other people date, he's doing far more harm to the institution of marriage than any gay couple could do. Or are you guys not worried about defending that anymore?

Most politicians (for the sake of public scrutiny) marry once and keep their personal affairs to a minimum; until someone wants to cause scandal.

Liberals and conservatives attack and insult each other, and you have shown that there isn't much change in that. The truth is in the middle - the lies are on the extreme left and right.

Apparenty he made the mistake of marrying them instead of just hooking up and bailing when things became unpleasant. How dare he attempt to disguise his fickle nature by engaging in the right wing institution of marriage.
