Why are the WWE wrestlers divided into three groups in Ecw,Smackdown and Raw?

I know, i long for the days when any superstar could appear at any show, i particularly miss seeing Hunter on Smackdown, even more now that that 7 foot tall sand n***** is the world champion, i mean since when did the wwe start giving terrorists the belt? what's next giving Osama Bin laden the US title? I hope Khali gets sent to Guantanamo ! I think WWE should consider amalgamating all three brands, or at least let the title holders appear on any show which would give wider story line options.

well is they had just one show all the people who are trying to make something of theirself in the wwe would never get a chance

if everyone was on one show not many would get ring time

too much for one show.
they wont have to time to have everybody fight.
plus he makes more money this way.
