I was on vacation, and I put my iPod nano in the water in the ocean. Can somebody help me try and revive it? I've been back for about three weeks now, and it still isn't working, although I've plugged it in the charger and everything. It was outside and in front of the fan drying out, but it still won't work. It worked for a minute when I first plugged it in when I first got back, but, other than that, no life has happened with poor Neil (his name). It's a second generation. Can someone help me, please???

Sounds like poor Neil needs to be laid to rest. It might not have been so bad if you'd of just gotten it in fresh water but salt water is an absolute killer for anything electronic. It totally corrodes all the metal inside the player and then you're left with a nice looking paperweight. Only thing you can do is most likely buy a new one. I doubt if Apple will cover it if still under warranty.

ocean? so salt water correct? Salt water is very bad for electronics. When the water evaporates, the salt is left behind and causes corrosion. Unfortunately Neil is not going to revive. You will have to buy a replacement.
