Neither party represents the sentiment of the people. Neither party endorses compromise, which is the the only way a democracy can function. Both parties are funded by corporate America which has an agenda of its own that your media isn't telling you about. War is good for business, and a protracted war is even better. I used to be sympathetic to the democrats, but actions speak louder than words, and if you look at the voting records of all the members of congress, there is no clear ideological difference between the two parties. I implore everyone to look at the voting records, don't listen to the media's evaluation of where they stand.

Contrary to what they say, it was not a mandate of the people. If it had been a mandate, why such a small margin in the Majority??? There were several other seats that Republicans won hands down.
You will find that politicians lie threw their teeth's and democrats, republicans or independents, are all the same. They took control of congress and what have they done??? Raised the minimum wage, which drove up the price of a Big Mac and everything else, Nancy got her Tuna company exempt from taxes, and lots of smoke and mirrors were put into place.

Ok. First off, Yes the Congress is "Majority Democrat".. but that doesn't mean that what They vote for will PASS!! What needs to be pointed out.. is that all the REPUBLICAN CONGRESSIONAL LEADERS stick to their Party and have voted Against ANYTHING that says BRING THE TROOPS HOME!! So with it being like a 51-49 Democratic Majority.. nothing can really EVER get passed unless some of those REPUBLICANS Vote along with Democrats and get over "STICKING WITH THEIR PARTY" and try to save "OUR TROOPS LIVES"!!!
So if you want to put BLAME on anyone.. It IS the Republican Congress and House Members and President George W. Bush!!!
So if your State has one of These Republican House or Congress Representatives "Supposedly Representing YOU".. you should Write, Call, and Contact them for a change! Remind them that they are SUPPOSE to be their Representing You.. Not their Party! And remind them that "The U.S. Citizens" Voted them into those Seats.. Not their Party! SO START REPRESENTING US!!!!

9% is the right score. Over 40% of folk think of congress is a minimum of doing a honest activity. seem on the Rasmussen information superhighway internet site in case you have not got self belief me. Now that we've that out of how, I see questions published like this and that they continuously bypass over one little ingredient. They under no circumstances element out a single piece of law surpassed by utilising the congress because of the fact January of 2007 that would desire to or might lead directly to the mess we are in. The additionally under no circumstances element to a single piece of law proposed by utilising a single republicans designed to handle perceived issues. On an ingredient notice, the askers under no circumstances point out that the inventory industry hit 14000 6 months after the Dem's took administration of the congress. particularly they blame congress for each thing without offering any info in help. in the event that they do attempt and lower back up what they say, that's often a youtube video of doubtful accuracy and beginning.

When they left just enough of those geyser Republicans in the Senate the Democrat hands are tied. Because they are requiring 60/40 which we Liberals don't have, YET. Nancy Pelosi got the house vote, it's just those old men walking around with their hands behind their back like Prince Charles that stop the vote that Democrats try to get our troops brought home.
Just wait until election and we will send quite a few Republican Bush lovers home to cry out, I 'm going run next election and win, Oh Yeah, wait because their has beens.

They know there's not enough kook fringe voters to keep them in office. They are courting that huge middle ground of voters who know we are at war with Islamic extremists.
And, no. They did not come to power in 2006 on the promise to get us out of Iraq. They won because the swing State conservative voters turned out RINOs and philandering Republicans by either staying home or voting for the Democrats who at the time, ran on conservative values.
H**l, I'm a conservative and there are several Republicans I'd be very happy to vote aganist. Graham and DeLay for starters.

Because the Democratic Congress only has a two seat majority - not enough to independently pass legislation. Certainly not enough to over ride a Presidential veto. I think we need 16 or 17 votes to be veto proof.

They are busy lining their own pockets at the moment. I recently was in Washington and saw several democrats with very bulging pockets and a trail of money behind them. The republicans very following very closely and picking it up.
We need term limits! Why is it that 75% of Americans want term limits but the congress won't give them to us? Greed and Power mixed in with a little avarice. Throw all the bums out.

I will vote Libertarian.
Not every US citizen is 100% Democrat or Republican.
Both have people that write questions in the form of insults.

I agree with you. Democrats were elected for a change. What change has occurred? NOTHING. I'm sure some liberals on here will be saying that they are still "fixing" issues. Funny, we said the same thing and we were told to stop crying.
