comission works. depending on the items you sell you could make a quota system. set an amount for them to make in sales for that month and at the end they can have an item fro the shop worth up to a certain amount... (i.e 10,000 in sales $150 or less item) it worked at my job for me. there is a tv show where they are selling cars and the owner every week makes a bet.. he puts up pocketbooks and vactions on the line for prizes

Commission or perks to the highest sales person...free merchandise...or bigger discounts...or flexible scheduling to the top 2 sales people, let them have an active input into what you sell...would they use it/wear it?
