Great question!!! it should be on it, by tonight...
Rizzuto was incredible, as a player -- and added something so special as a beloved broadcaster, who was a lifelong NYer (although ran-away to live in suburban, NJ -- heck even THAT became a source of fun, as he'd run out of games early to beat the fans to the George Washington Bridge, because he hated being stuck in traffic). It was a shame, a crying shame that Ozzie Smith went into the Hall before him.. and that the Veteran's Committee is a bunch of knuckleads - and he couldn't enjoy this honor for 30-40 YEARS.
All the cannoli's you want, in heaven.
RIP.

The YES network has already started the tributes with his yankeeography and clips during commercial breaks. If they don't do something tonight certainly something will be done by the weekend. He is a legend and is the definition of Yankee Pride. He will surely be missed and remembered in an honorable way.

The Yankees have been more inclined to simple black armbands than to number patches. But there will no doubt be some uniform insignia in tribute to Rizzuto, if not for the remainder of 2007, then certainly 2008.

All the great players of recent times (passing) have been remembered with thier number being worn, the Scooter should be also not just for his long time affiliation with the Yankees but for his great playing.

The Yankee organization is a class act. They will pay great tribute to him in their own way and with great dignity and class.

It will be interesting to see the reaction this evening at the Stadium. There certainly will be a moment of silence, and I would venture to say some sort of memorial on the uniform.
He was a great guy!
