I am a woman & I hold it open for others yes - but I admit that I do like it when men hold the door open for me.

♥ Yes... its a respect thing. I always stop and hold the door open whether its an older person, a child, a woman or a man.

Usually, yeah, unless it's someone who I dislike... Then I tend to just it go. It's kind of second nature for me to look behind me if I'm opening a door, and if there is someone there, I stand there holding the door until they walk past =]

Unless I just got ripped off at a store. One time I shoved the door open so hard it got stuck...so I didn't have to hold it. It pisses me off when I hold it open for somebody that doesn't even look at me.

Yes and sometimes I misjudge the speed at which they are walking to the door and I am stuck holding it open for an extended amount of time. Alittle akward, but they thank you and smile and then it's worth it.

Yeah, I will if they are directly behind be. I am not going to wait to hold the door for someone who is waaaayyy down the hallway, or on the otherside of somewhere I am not.

Only if there is someone near. By no means am I going to wait for someone to appear so that they don't have to open the door themselves...

Yes, I am that type of person. I was taught to do this when I was younger and I still do it to this day. I do it for whoever is there.
