In my opinion, I think there is such thing as a life after death. Man is an immortal spiritual being. The body dies, but the spirit or soul, which is the person himself not something that he owns moves on.
The soul is the form of the body’s matter. It is fair to say all living things have one. At death, the soul separates from and survives the body.
People say that the soul never dies as it is not a physical object, therefore it cannot die physically. This is the same concept of trying to kill off a ghost which is of course dead.
When you die you will either: learn things that you could never know while you were mortal – the secrets of the universe or, cease to exist at all.

I really don't know..growing up they made me so afraid to die that for my sake i really hope there isn't.. and pretty much if any of the 3 major religions are true..God is going to take America as a whole and just flick it into hell.

Without a doubt there isn't, you just stop existing. People believe there is an afterlife because they fear not existing. This is just my belief.

Well I am christian(I'm not one of those really ignorant and cocky ones) and i beleive that there is an eternal life with god

Of course not... Dead is dead.
The best you can hope for is that you will be remembered well by those who knew you.... Therein is the only "life" you will have once you've passed away.
