I don't feel it necessary to add my degrees (JD/MBA) after my name, but I have seen other people in my field (finance) list their degrees in their signature.

Is it necessary?
When is it appropriate?
Should I list one degree or both?

Thanks.

If it is work related or you are networking then I would and list both degrees. But if it is not and it is everyday things like signing a note or a check no I wouldn't

It is an out-dated practice but some may still do so, especially in the education sector!

Only use it in professional situations, like on your business card or business letters.

It is unnecessary to include as part of your signature.
