I think everyone is out to make money & they don't care how they do it. It is their lifestyle. I don't know why you find it ridiculous. Parie & Nicole bring it on themselves. When you throw yourself out in the public eye as they do that is what happens.

It means absolutely nothing to them or the people starring in it.

WHO CARES?? There are a lot more important things to worry about in this world. Here's a partial list:
Genocide, rape and displacement in Darfur;
An unconstitutional, unjustified, immoral war in Iraq;
American citizens who are disadvantaged, sick, elderly, underprivileged, poor, unemployed, hungry and homeless;
Global warming that is about to destroy our environment;
A corrupt U.S. Congress;
Battered women who live in fear of their spouses/mates;
Animals that are exploited, abused, or tortured;
Failure of most Americans to REuse, REduce or REcycle;
Dismal American education programs;
Missing and exploited children all over the world;
WalMart's underpaid, overworked, slaves;
Depletion of the ozone layer and the rain forests;
Species that are becoming extinct due to man's stupidity;
Gas-guzzling SUVs and Hummers that poison our air;
America's worst economic depression ever shortly after George W. Bush leaves office;
Polluted air and water that will kill many Americans in the years to come;
Loan sharks posing as legitimate mortgage brokers, real estate agents, stockbrokers and bankers;
CEOs, movie stars, and athletes who think they deserve to earn tens of millions of dollars each year while others in this country don't have enough to eat;
Oil companies that think it's acceptable to drill for oil in some of America's most pristine lands and oceans;
Depletion of mangrove forests along the world's coasts;
Selfish, greedy, well-to-do people that squander their resources on themselves instead of thinking about others;
Collapsing infrastructures around the world;
Loss of basic American rights and freedoms;
Corrupt, incompetent, contemptible public officials;
Monopolistic, corrupt two-party U.S. political system;
Chemically-altered foods;
People in the richest country in the world have a shorter life span than 41 other nations;
Americans without health insurance or medical care all because they can't afford it;
Obesity, diabetes, alcoholism, and drug abuse runs rampant throughout the United States
