I feel like they died or something..
i know they have that song working class heroes,
and they were on in the simpsons movie.
but when is a new album or touring going to start?
anyone know anything?

I've been checking TicketMaster periodically for a year now looking for tour dates. So far, nothing. I'm waiting as patiently as I can. Call them sell-outs if you must, but I love Green Day!

Green Day have now got 3 albums worth of bringing out (they said in interview to Kerrang!) But they are still recording and producing. They want this to be the perfect follow-on to American Idiot
Billie has said the album is coming out Early 2008. And touring starts a month after that..

i love them...i will always be their fan..i heard tho that they retired ....but maybe it was just from their last album meaning that they wouldnt goign to tour any songs of that album any longer...however in another website i heard this:In an interview with Kerrang!, Billie Joe Armstrong revealed that 2008 would "be a fair estimate of the release date of the new album."[33] On April 5, 2007, it was confirmed that Green Day would appear in the documentary One Nine Nine Four, a film about punk music in the nineties, that is being narrated by Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.

I think they just taking a long break that's all. I mean Billie probably wants to spend time with his kids. Just like anyone would. They do have lives outside of the music world. But don't worry I can't see them stopping for ever just for a while so they can personal break. They love what they do too much stop forever.
They are going to be in a upcoming documentary about punk
rock called PUNK"S NOT DEAD.

*sighs* i heard that Green Day was never going to tour again, but as much as i hope that they change their minds.....i think it was Billie's decision to not tour that way he could spend more time with his kids.=(
