who makes over $200,00 annually should give everything over $200,000 to the government. I asked him how much he and his wife make annually and he said alittle over $100,000...something tells me that if he and his wife made over $200,000 annually he would feel anything over $300,000 should be given to the government....my question is...how many libs agree with him, and what do YOU consider rich??..

Its funny how libs cant deal with the idiotic ideas that come straight from the mouths of their bretheren with their philosophy written all over it. And they accuse you of making it up. Either the libs on here are dumb high school and college kids or they never really grew up.

The rich men Jesus spoke against were men that cared nothing for their fellow man, only cared about their comfort and what their friends thought of them, having great parties, and so on and so forth.

Being rich isnt so much a dollar amount. If you were to see how my wife and I live, you would coclude by Americas standards that we are lower middle class. But in countries like El Salvador or Romania, we would be considered rich. Jesus was against those who overall loved money, comfort, women, or anything in this life more than God.

Wealth is just a superficial measure for those who have great insecurity. I am comfortable. I make enough money to pay bills, own a home, give to charities, put food on the table and take a nice vacation once or twice per year. I own a decent car that I can afford to maintain. I look at my lifestyle and think what more could I need. Or even how would I benefit from more?

I don't even make close to the $200.000/year mark yet I have more than enough to go around.

Nobody really needs to be rich. I am not saying that those who make over a certain tax bracket should have the overages seized, however on the same point they should not be paying a lesser percentage than the rest of us.

I don't advocate forcing people to fork over that large of a sum to the government, but I do believe those who have higher salaries should pay taxes at a higher percentage... and the loopholes where money could be hidden closed.

Your co-worker is a liar and an idiot.

I think rich is being able to pay your bills easily, own a home and a good car and be able to help your family if need be and just be comfortable with living. i guess that would differ with each individual.

Don't agree with him at all. I don't have a problem with rich people. It's the ultra wealthy who keep their money off shore to avoid taxes that the rest of us have to make up for that I have a problem with.

no I don't agree with that statement. I don't think Everything over any amount should be given over.. I just think that the wealthy shouldn't get to pay a smaller % of their income just because they are wealthy. And my personal scale is that anyone who makes more than 250k a year is rich.

Wow, I don't agree with him! I do believe that the rich should be taxed at a slightly higher rate and less loopholes for them! I see paying taxes as one of the most patriotic things one can do.
