I've read sci-fi books about what can happen when you slip a villan's dad a rubber, so I'd definitely think hard before I tried to change anything. But things I'd like to see for myself:
Woodstock (and/or a college campus in the 1960's)
Jesus preaching
Meeting Rasputin (or other interesting historical figures who may, unlike kings and such, actually be approachable)
The south in Mark Twain's era (pre-civil war)
Berlin Wall coming-down party
A real Mozart concert
And I have to see if Helen of Troy was really that hot.
There are also some battles and military history I wouldn't mind finding out more about, from a safe distance.

Well, my hometown is celebrating its bicentennial this year, and there are precious few records from the time the town was founded. I just think it would be so cool to go back in time to see what the place looked like then, and then make a stop 100 years later to see how it had changed, and just revisit it at some point in my childhood. I think it would also be cool to go back to when my parents met, just to see them as a goofy, in-love couple of teenagers.
Sorry, I'm just really nostalgic lately.

I would like to go :
1. When Jesus Christ was on earth. To see Him even from a long distance .
2. In Ancient Greece, to see how life was there and to meet all the important Greeks, like Socrates, Sophocles etc. And of course to admire the architecture and art (Parthenon,Olympia etc.) .
3. In Byzantine Empire to visit Constantinople and Hagia Sophia in all their glory.
I don't want to see my past , i don't need a time machine for that, my past is in my heart and memories. I don't want to change it. Many times was very good and happy, sometimes sad and full of mistakes but all these made me the person who i am now. I'm not perfect, however i wouldn't change myself, and also i don't like to be stuck in the past.

Interesting question.
Could I live without plumbing? Not unless I was rich.
Italy during the Renaissance sounds romantic. I love the clothes.
I am afraid Primoa would be very disappointed. What he should do is attend the Council of Nicea.

Most definitely into the future. It would be fascinating to test the Omega Point Theory at the boundary of the Universe's final past light cone.

Difficult one that I've always fancied the idea.
Probably into the future to see at what point we manage to f**k it all up, then come back and try to change the outcome.
I know that not allowed in your average time travel film but thats what I'd do.........If only it was possible

The 50s, Hollywood. All the music was so romantic and sweet. The movies were near perfection in many aspects, and the fashion was awesome!!!!
And i would want everything around me to be black and white!!!! Just kidding.
