How many times have you locked your keys in the car?

Just thought I'd ask while I'm sitting here waiting to get mine out......

More times than I care to remember. The funny thing is that my husband was driving every time. Probably the most memorable was when my husband (my boyfriend at the time) had planned a whole day for us at the beach and found a great place where there was a restaraunt and had proposed to me. The plan he had set up was go play on the beach and then after he asked to marry me (which I said yes of course) we would go change and go to dinner at the restaraunt. He had made reservations for us while I was using the bathroom) So he proposed and I said yes, do after awhile we headed back to the car to change and low and behold there were his keys sitting on his seat with the car securly locked. He was mortified. We looked everywhere for anything and actually found an already prebent coat hanger that he was able to break into the car with. He swears that was an awful thing, but for me it just made it all the more unforgettable.

Several times. I have actually locked the keys in the car while the car was running, while there was a baby in the car, while the baby was in the car with the car running...you name it. Many different fun variations on a theme. I think it was due to sleep deprivation as a mom.

A couple of times. And out of the house - had to climb in a window. And my work keys I left in an office that locks and I spent half an hour searching for someone who had a spare to that office. I'm terrible with keys - lol. Hope you get in soon!!

once when i 6 in saudi arabia and it was my family was on a road trip. we took a quick stop for some food and a bathroom break and i didnt need eihter. so i stayed in the car and listened to music. when they took too long i locked the car with the engine and radio and everything running and locked all the doors then ran to see what took so long. we waited 3 hours in the middle of nowhere waiting for the guys to come open the door and it was uber hot

I have done it a total of about 7 times. Five of the times were within 2 months! I started carrying a spare key in my wallet after that, because I always have that with me, I really don't leave it in the car.Now I have automatic locks, so I'm good!

lol that's a bummer.
i was training a new employee and i decided to pull an einstein and leave my purse in the trunk while we went into one of our accounts. I never thought to take my keys out. so here we are again in a really bad area, 104 degrees and no money and no keys. we were stuck there for 2 hrs and no slim jim would work so they had to shatter my window. it costed $ 200 dollars for a new window. My new employee must have thought "how professional" and i could not even buy her lunch. She still works for me. LOL

I have done it twice - but its been a long time since the last time I did because the last three cars I have owned have all at remote door locks and haven't done it since - now ask me how many times have I locked myself out of the house and you will get an entirely different answer.

About 3 times in the past 3 years,2 times it was running as well..

Thank God you have your computer or cell, I've locked my keys about 3 times inside my car had to look up a policeman to unlock my car. Not much trouble! Jimmy.

I have locked them in there like 5 times.... and twice have been within the past few months... It's so frustrating!!
