Suggested add-ons, to name a few:
- headers, y-pipe, catback exhaust (possibly add in a cutout)
- intake (upgrade to LT4 intake at least)
- heads (highly recommend the AFR Mongoose 205cc heads)
- camshaft (depends on what you want the car to do - street or strip)
- suspension (shocks, struts, LCAs, torque arm, strut tower brace, adjustable panhard bar to name a few)
- if automatic, stall convertor (again, depends on what you want to do with the car)
- new rear end (highly recommend a 12-bolt or 9" rear end as factory rear-ends are far too weak in these cars - gear ratio depends on what you want the car to do)
- forged internals (get a forged crank and some forged pistons to keep the engine from exploding under the high horsepower numbers - change to a 4.00" forged crank for a 383 stroker)
- turbo/supercharger (Procharger setups are pretty popular anymore, since they use two intercoolers and setup nicer)
- nitrous (easy, cheap power, but say goodbye to engine longevity)

I suggest reading the forums at http://www.ls1tech.com . You will find a lot of valuable information there as far as what you should and shouldn't do. The important thing to do first is to determine what you want the car to do. If it is a daily driver, most of the above list is not needed. If you want it for a weekend racer, review that list, and get your checkbook ready. It will cost you well over $20K to get your car completely built up with all of the above. The ideal place to start is exhaust though. The stock manifolds are very restrictive, and the only real reason that the Corvettes are faster than the Camaros. Good luck, and happy modding.

Thro, this is really a personal perferrence thing, here. It really depends on what 'YOU' are lookin to get out of the Camaro. So, w/ me bein the hot-rodder/better perfomance type. I'd suggest first open up the exhaust(w/ a better flowin muffler or cat-back system) flow and the intake air flow(w/ a better-freer flowin air filter).

But, I've included some links below to give you some more ideals and directions. On what some of the other f-body guys/gals have done in the FAQ's.

Thro, I did like the suggestion of the Identical twin blondes in the tight jeans, w/ BIG Double D boobs, LOL;)

Good luck!

A big pink tail, an organic juicer on the parcel shelf and a Tv in the front bumper, along with seat that play piano notes when you jump up and down on them.

Oh sorry just watched another pathetic episode of Pimp my Ride.

Good luck paint it black and put a blower on it that would look cool.
