Yeah, there are way more people who live in the Northern Hemisphere rather than the Southern. We should invent a way to make the Earth stop shifting on its axis. If I can permanently keep it at say mid-August for the axial tilt, that would be nice (earlier in the summer would make it too hot). About the amount of light and warmth that we recieve now is just right.

Change the angle of the Earth's tilt. This will even out the daylight hours of winter and summer.
Alternatively, Australia has more daylight hours in the Northern Hemisphere winter.

Winter's not depressing - it's cosy! I love winter as you get to snuggle up on the sofa in your duvet and drink hot chocolate, play in the snow (possibly), and the start of winter means the start of the party season! We've got halloween, christmas and new year to look forward to!

Ask Al Gore. He invented the Internet and discovered Global Warming. He makes Mr. Wizzard look like a high school dropout he's so smart.

Move south to get the longer days.
But the dark evenings aren't depressing, they have as many advantages as disadvantages.

This question is a PERFECT example of the questions I reference in my own question, posted today. Why do people post goofy questions like this here? Sounds to me like this one would be better in mental health - you probably suffer from seasonal affective disorder. Check it out....
