does anybody know why the 2nd season with kyndra tessa and cam wasn't filmed and instead they filmed newport harbor ?

Although Laguna Beach was a popular show,season 3 did not generate the viewers like season 1 and 2.
Producers have also said that many of the main characters no longer wanted to do the show,Kendra being one of them.

I think New Port Harbor is supposed to be Laguna Beach with a different name, because the theme song is the same and the name thing looks the same. I think the reason for this is because not a lot of people watched the third season because the Laguna Beach everyone likes is the one with the original cast. They probably changed the name so it would get more viewers.

first of all its the 4th!!!! season wasnt filmed because no one liked the main characters. Also tessa moved away so you wouldnt see her in the show if there was one. Newport Harbor they thought would start the legaccy of LB all over again. In my own opinion i gotta say that Newport Harbot sucks, all of the characters r annoying, and its also boring.Oh yeah and theres isnt enough people on that show anyways.

i know right well Kelan went to the same school as Morgan S. and got singed to Epic for Open Air Stereo, Cami went to college, Chase got signed to Epic for Open Air Stereo, Tessa moved to San Antonio to a different school close by Laguna, Kyndra still lives in Laguna and got implants for herself and for Lexi and Cameron they still live in Laguna and hang out with Kyndra

um yea i go to newport harbor and watched the show (really stupid btw)
the girl like two answers above is totally wrong
they arent in laguna beach,they're in newport
well they decided to do the show here because laguna doesnt want the show filmed there anymore because it has given them such a bad name. so they decided to move up the coast to start at a different place.

The third season of Laguna went downhill majorily. They would have lost a lot of money to produce another season, so instead they're changing it up and trying something new.

I think you mean 4th season of kyndra, tessa, and cami
and it probably wasn't filmed because season threes ratings weren't very great
and i agree, it wasn't my favorite

like the first person said...laguna was gettin old and this was a way to get more pple to watch...it is made by the same pple who made laguna
