It could be either Diesel Common-rail Injection, or Direct Common-rail Injection.

Renault's past history with their version names for diesels suggests that the D refers to diesel, the C to common rail, and the i to direct injection.
Their dT models were diesel turbos with indirect injection.
When they changed to direct injection, the model designation changed to dTi
When they introduced common-rail direct injection, dTi was replaced by dCi.

The instrument clocks may be faulty or have a loose connection. Also there may be a loose connection going onto the oil light switch on the engine or the switch itself may be faulty. Process of elimination i would say, starting with the switch
