I've ridden Soarin' at the Walt Disney World Resort. I went and got a Fastpass first thing in the morning, so by the time I could go back to the ride, it said it was only about a 10 minute wait. Lucky for me, my little cousin chickened out, so my mom had to stay with her, so me and my dad got to go on twice (we used their Fastpasses)! By the time got off the ride the second time around, it was a 90 minute wait and the line came out ALL the way to the entrance! It was crazy!

I have only ridden on Soaring over California in DCA. I have actually only waited in the standby line once and used FastPass all the other times. FP is by far the best way to go. The wait for FP is usually 10-15 minutes or so. I also always wait for Concourse B and sit in line 1 (middle ride vehicle at the top, can't see the side of the screen, and no feet dangling over you). That adds another 10 minutes to my wait, but it is SO worth it.

I've ridden both, at WDW 3 times, CA a couple hundred. We waited at WDW about 45 mins the first time and did Fastpass the other two so maybe 10-15 mins on FP.

In CA we will almost always use fastpass so 10-15 mins but I have seen long lines and on one occasion I had to ask the CM is the ride was down because there was no line.

It will all depend on when you go.

It really depends on the day and the time you go. During summer, the average wait can be anywhere from 30 min - 2 hours. Here's some of my "predictions" for a normal summer day Pirates: 20-30 min Space Mountain: 1 hr Splash Mountain: 2 hr (depending on the weather, if its cooler, less people will go on it) Dumbo (and most of the small Fantasyland rides): 20-45 min Matterhorn: 15-30 min Thunder Mountain: 20-45 min ect, ect, ect However, its hard to predict how long the wait time is until you arrive at the ride. Sometimes, you might be lucky and the wait will be short because the ride just reopened after a break down, other times you might have to wait longer because the ride broke down. The wait time posted by the ride is usually pretty accurate.

It depends on what time of day you go. Early mornings at either EPCOT or California Adventures, the wait is about 10 minutes or less. During the afternoon, the wait at both parks seems to be about 90+ minutes. At EPCOT, be sure to ride before the night Magic Hours--where waits exceed 90 minutes. At California Adventures, I found right before the park closes is short 5 minute or less wait.

At California Adventure, I waited about an hour. The ride seems to become very popular in the afternoon and evenings. Be sure to get a Fastpass if you don't want to wait a long time. But, by quick because Fastpasses run out very fast! Good luck =)

I have only ridden "Soaring" in California, despite the fact that I live in Orlando.

If there was a wait in line I don't remember it at all, as I was in fabulous company. So any wait was a bonus, or an opportunity to take a buttload of pictures of mundane stuff, because I was so slap happy.

i just got back from walt disney world in florida last night.

i dont know if you're familiar with it, but disney has extra magic hours? its extra hours after the park closes available to people stay on disney in disney hotels only.

so the wait for soarin' for me when i did the extra magic hours was 20 minutes.

during the day, however, it was 70 minutes which was ridiculous to wait on. i dont know why anyone would want to wait that long?
