When i take off from a stop or slowing down their will be a clunk in the rear end of my truck. It always happens when i take off from a stop and sometimes when i just slown down and then take off again. It doesn't happen when i'm just driving only when i go to take off, sometimes from a slowing down and on the rare occasion when i go over a bump like through a camp road

Anyone know what is causing this and how i can fix it?

Any help is greatly appretiated, Thank You

You should stop by your local chevy dealership.Have the service dept shop foreman drive your truck. We had a problem with some chevy trucks with the drive shaft sticking and causeing the problem you stated about when stoping or after stoping and takeing off. This problem was corrected by removeing the drive shaft and installing a special grease to the front of the shaft.Hope this helps.

If it's not the u-joints or the axle check the spare tire carrier to see if it's coming loose.
