I went to high school on Cape Cod. In the Reagan-80's. Dark, grey, and freezing cold for 8 and half months out of the year. Humid and surrounded by obnoxious tourists for the other three and half months. Everything is damp and moldy and smells like fishy low tide. The wind whips and howls constantly (we had a really high suicide rate). Everybody's really cluelessly white-bread white. I was the only black kid in a graduating class of 400. There's absolutely nothing to do and nowhere to go. No culture. The radio stations all play easy listening, classical, or 24-7 news and talk. It's sort of like living in Alaska, but without the interesting terrain and wildlife.
I already know what hell looks like. I spent 4 years there. And don't get me started on living with my ex. The flaming lake of lava just doesn't sound that bad.

Hell is not going to be a firey pit. My Definition is the separation and not a part of a desire place or group. If you want to go there is it hell? Maybe god will save you so you "have" to live with the angels. Doing gods work could be not desirable. What? No TV? No Beer? I have to work? How many times do I have to go save that fool? I want BBQ, how come there isn't anyfire pits around here? Can I at least visit my friends in hell on the weekends? If you play that song on your lil harp one more time st peter is going to have to glue your wings back on....

you know whats funny? we know hell is horrible and we know that if you sin and do noy ask forgivness from God, you will end up there and yet we sin anyways? whats wrong with the world???? the book of Spirit and Life says that when a profit was taken to hell to see what it looked like, he said it was fiery and hot. there were people who had lived bad lives and where hanging by their necks and wiping maggets from their eyes yelling and crying out for mercy. But its to late for them already. that is my vision of hell and God have mercy on any of us if we end up there

I think they came pretty close in the movie Constantine. (Keanu is soooo cute). Anyway, I have no greater fear than landing in Hell. Absolutely terrifying.
