I fold and separate all the laundry as well as keeping the hanging clothes in separate piles. Everyone over the age of 4 can put all of their own clothes away. 3 years and younger can put their drawer clothes away and the older ones work together to hang the little ones clothes. While the laundry has to be put away, the T.V. is off and their is no food put on the table till it is all done. Kids can do wy more than most people give them credit for.

I put all the clothes away. Occasionally if I have a larger than normal load I'll tell my kids to hang their clothes up or put them away. It is a mission though.

My mother always made all her kids (6) do all their own laundry. It was part of our daily chores. Clean your room, make your bed, do your laundry! She taught us the proper way and was there to help when needed. Now I am an adult and plan to do the same with my children. What do they learn if you do everything for them?

I put away my kids clothes and my hubby and mom put away their own clothes. most of the time if i washed the clothes my hubby folds them and puts moms in her room and ours in our room and i put them away. the boys do the sock sorting to teach them responsiblity and also to teach them when they dont put dirty sock in the hampers they have to wear mismatched socks till the other ones go intot hampers. they dont like it but needless to say i have maybe one pair of mismatched now then 20 pairs of one sockies.
