My coworker is from Nigeria and is a Christian. Most of her family practice Christianity as well. The ones from Nigeria as well as the ones who have settled here in America. He is also probably accurate as to how much he makes and the high rate of rent that he pays. I live near the capitol and teach school here. I make about twice what I would have if I had stayed in Ohio but I pay four times the rent. I moved for probably the same reason that he did, job availability. His income may look terrific until you take into consideration the cost of living. Since he is willing to wait a year I would just see how things progress. If he tries to push the wedding up, then I would be suspicious. A lot can be learned in a year, hopefully by that time you will have a better understanding of his motives. Hopefully the guy is not just after a green card.

Nigerian? Funny, I have the same situation with a Norwegian cousin that passed away. I however was not asked to send money but 1000 Cod. In turn I am inheriting a Cod fishing fleet. Only down side is that I still need to learn Norwegian and move there. Funny, huh?

Well, things are going very slowly. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you could send me a few more thousand, I think that I can hire lawyers to speed it up.
Don't stop believing now! We've almost got the 4.6 million!

Just wait it out. It's a long processing transaction. Give it a few more months. Unless he's really not your cousin, then its a scam. So yes, contact a lawyer...
Btw, that is the cutest dog ever!

Very - I think by now probably half of all people who have email accounts have had some contact from scam artists from African (and other places in the world).
Good Job!!!

Well, I am the only living relative to that person and also have the same last name as them, so I think you have this all wrong and it is my money. I get plenty of these emails everyday, so I know I am right!! They have confirmed!! LOL

No. It's on the up and up. Send me the money, I'll expedite sending it to Nigeria. That's my cousin.
