If it has nothing to do with FAT or NTFS then why when you right click on it - choose format are you given the option of FAT and NTFS

Once you have the stick connected to the computer, right-click My Computer > Manage > Disk Management > format the drive on the stick into a new format. That should work.

If it won't take NTFS (I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't), then try FAT32.

make sure if you bought Memory stick they are compatible with your mother board either 133/100 or different type of motherboard... I am not sure what type of motherboard you have if you are not sure either , go to http://www.soft32.com/download_202598.html
and run SIW it shows you all hardware information you need to know about your PC befor you buy any hardwar check your hardware info make sure they are working with your system, you can download SIW from any other site just do a search for it with Google .

a pair opportunities. the two your memory stick is undesirable or The report equipment must be corrupted on it from pulling it out with out remarkable removing it. attempt moving your stuff off it, pass to my pc and precise-click on it. click format, and format thepersistent. Use the default settings. this could erase each and every thing on it, regardless of if it may help if it is purely a corrupted report equipment.
