my guy does a lot of the cooking when he can. He does a wicked stir fry and can spice up meat like no one can. I'm better at doing meals, like roast dinners or fry-ups. He takes hours to do a basic fry-up, but it always tastes good. I tend to overcook meat when I do it - I'm always paranoid that it's not done properly, so burn it just in case. I'm getting used to cooking chicken properly though. We're both still learning. Unfortunately his philosophy alters regarding the washing up - if I cook, I wash up, because I made the mess. If he cooks, I wash up, because he's been in the kitchen cooking for me. Either way, I wash up!

My husbands cooking is great. He (not that i can remember) has ever cooked form scratch, he like to go to M&S and buy prepared stuff (such as nice meat joints, veg, nice puds etc) and then do all the cooking, oreoaration and serving.

The food is always lovely and he does a proper starter, main and dessert and always keeps my wineglass topped up.

I cant complain really.

As for whether he likes mine. He says he does most meals but sometimes (usually if i am disappointed with the meal myself) i know he's just being polite to keep me happy!

I absolutely love my husband's cooking - he cooks often, does many things better than I do, and I think it's great! We also have the "house rule" that the one who cooks doesn't do the clean-up and that works for us.

Me! my boyfriend is a much better cook than me and really likes getting adventerous with his cooking. I have no objections to him cooking for me! He does a lovely steak stir fry and a mean bacon and mushroom pasta dish!

I love his cooking, its better than mine at times.

I'm paranoid about undercooking stuff so I usually burn it intentionally. So when he cooks the meals are less crunchy in a good way.
