It is a static ip address which I verified with my internet provider, all the other computers are fine on the network, it is sending out packets but recieving none. I changed the ethernet cord, but still nothing. We are a start up biz with no funds to call an it guy. Please help.

ummm i reall don't kno.... if i were there i could help but i'm not. and well i have a question for you....how are you asking this question on the internet if it doesn't work?

That computer is configured with the static IP address, the correct subnet mask, default gateway, and DHCP and DNS servers?

Have you checked out the satuas...i dont know if i spelt that right..but on my internet there is a thing that tells me who the user is and who can use the net...well change those arround, change your numbers around...until you get into the internet...that should help :]
