It has long leaves that come straight out of the ground, it's a perennial and I think it's bulbous, it has distinctive orange flowers that grow either side of a long stem (tend to flower in sucession up the stem - one pair will die and a higher pair with bloom) and grows about 40-60cm high, the leaves are a pale-mid green colour and it grows in clumps

Its Mimosa Pudica. The gentle plant (Mimosa pudica L.) is a creeping annual or perennial herb often grown for its interest fee: the compound leaves fold inward and hunch while touched, re-establishing interior of minutes. Mimosa pudica is interior of reach to Brazil, yet is now a pantropical weed.

Look for a variety called "Lucifer", It has large red blooms and is stunning. Crocosmia is one of my favorite flowers I have it all over the yard.
