First off you did,nt mention your age but I guess it would,nt matter anyway cause take it from me, a fashion freak, tie and jeans is a major no-no, it,s very 80,s looking, now a tie and a nice pair of casual pants that are ironed down the middle that off set the tie would be more appropriate, make sure you keep your colors low key, and please iron your shirt, I cant stand it when you see a guy who is dressed up but he or she forgot to iron their shirt or pants. Also if you go on the web to GQ magazine you can get some great fashion tips from just looking at the pictures of the guys, just a idea? Good Luck !

If you wanna pull off the jeans with tie look this is what you do. Wear stone washed or faded jeans not dark ones. wear a long sleeved button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up twice...the roll needs to be the length of the cuff on the shirt...and then your tie..or you can go sleeves down with a sports jacket and your tie...then if you get hot you can take it off and roll your cuffs...easy as that....or you can go jeans and button up with the top two buttons undone...no tie...with or without the cuffs rolled... you have tons of options...hope this helped

yeahh, that would look really hot ! as long as the tie is not pulled all the way, kind loose, and the shirt is untucked. yupp, super cute ! and try to match the colour of the tie with the jeans. if its navy, do a dark blue jeans, if its baby blue, do a lighter blue jean, if its black, do a black jean. its its something like red, any wash would look hott.

I think jeans with a nice dress shirt is really sexy, but I'm not sure about adding a tie to it.. I don't think it would go together very well.

You can if you want to. Whether it will be appropriate depends on where you are going and is more a function of whether you should wear jeans and not whether you should wear a collared shirt with a tie.

That would be really tacky! Wear jeans with a t shirt, and nice pants with a shirt and tie.

It depends sometimes..
but if it was a t-shirt jeans and a tie.
that wouldn't really look right.

depends on how nice the jeans are and where you're going. if its just out with some friends, yes, dark jeans are fine... if its a job interview, NO.

No, Jeans are casual. Shirt and ties go with dockers or khakis

What kind of shirt?
A long sleeved button up? kind of 90's, I would have to say no but its all up to you. Put it together and if it doesn't look right or you are doubting it, its probably not going to reflect well to other either.
