force = mass * acceleration

= 350* 0.62 (kg miles/second^2) in the given direction.

The only tricky part is converting that to a more traditional unit of force.

A mile is 1600 meters, so

F = 130*0.62*1600 Newtons (1N = 1 kg m / s^2) in the direction given.

Bekki has given the answer but what I don't understand is that the question is quite simple and straightforward. Complications would arise only if another force is acting on the saiboat in a different direction and you are asked to work out the resultant.
