WD-40 and a rag should do it or you can buy Goof-Off at Wal-Mart or Lowes.

Goof Off is amazing. Though it actually dissolves the glue. It should NOT be used on plastics or other chemically soluble things. And, wear gloves. It isn't like it's going to kill you but it will dry out your skin. You will have NO glue left when you're done.

You can try putting vegetable oil on it and when it has absorbed it try to remove it. They make a product called something like ****. A hardware store will know it. Wouldn't you think they could come up with something that will come off easier. Hope this helps.

Goo Gone - apply it and let it sit for a few minutes. You may need a 'scraper' rather than using your finger nails. A second application may be necessary. Clean the area with a soapy rag when done.
